Cloudspeaker Vol. XVII. Happy Within.

Cloudspeaker Vol. XVII. Happy Within.

The return of the mixtape.

No elaborate mixing apart from smooth changes from one track to the next.

Cloudspeaker Vol. XVII was recorded right after the departure of SOMEONE, to whom this mixtape is dedicated. It’s the soundtrack to the 7 months of happiness we spent together in Germany and Great Britain, flying together for the first time, setting up house together twice, visiting friends and new places, and for a little while, putting life on hold and just being happy together. I know we will always be happy within, even when we’re without each other, and I can’t wait to see you again. Cloudspeaker Vol. XVII is a collection of songs that includes some that we listened to in bars and shopping malls, and which I was able to remember thanks to TrackID. I hope we will always be happy within, no matter where we are. And I wish the same to all of you.

This volume of Cloudspeaker includes music from Britain, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Portugal, and the United States (in alphabetical order).

About Cloudspeaker

Inspired by a friend I compiled a list of my top ten tracks of the last decade – which took me longer than I expected. I picked tracks of ten musicians or bands that impressed me over the last ten years and eventually had to add a bonus track to fit it all in. The result was Cloudspeaker Vol. 1. The title ‘Cloudspeaker’ and the artwork are used by courtesy of German product designer Johannes Tsopanides (Shapes In Play).
